Follow Friday – Chicago Tribute Markers of Distinction

13 May

The Newberry Library administers a website called ChicagoAncestors.org which provides many useful genealogical tools. The site has just added markers on the ancestors map noting the locations where notable Chicagoans lived or worked. The website to view information about the individuals is Chicago Tribute Markers of Distinction. You can read about Nelson Algren, Nat “King” Cole, Stephen Douglas, Women of Hull-House and Ida B. Wells-Barnett just to name a few. Take a few minutes to look around the site.

Your blog was the featured blog in the csgenealogy newsletter this week.
I enjoyed reading some of your blog post, and I hope your mystery gets solved.
    Great work,
    Elisabeth
